Fr Jonathan Boardman - Priest-in-Charge

The Rev’d Canon Jonathan Boardman is the Priest-in-Charge of St Peter’s, a role he holds together with Vicar of the neighbouring parish of St Paul’s, Clapham. Jonathan was Chaplain at All Saints', Rome from 1999 until he moved to Clapham in 2018. 

Educated at Oxford, Cambridge and the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, he was ordained in Liverpool where he served his curacy. He was Precentor of St Albans Cathedral between 1993 and 1996, and then served as Team Rector of Catford and Downham, and Rural Dean of East Lewisham, both in South London. Since working in Rome he has developed the role of Senior Tutor at the Anglican Centre, playing a part in the planning and delivery of the Centre's annual academic programme. 

His book Rome, a Literary and Cultural Companion was published by Signal (Second Edition 2006). He contributes an occasional diary piece to the Church Times.  He has also served as Archdeacon for Italy and Malta and was made a canon of Malta Cathedral in 2007.

Tim Abraham & Glyn Parfin - Churchwardens

St Peter’s is served by two Churchwardens - Tim Abraham and Glyn Parfin. As Wardens, they have responsibility for the upkeep of the church building, as well as manging our community spaces.

Glyn is also responsible for the music at St Peter’s.

Robert Willer - Sacristan

As Sacristan, Robert organises the worshipping life of the church, and is also our Head Server.

Fr Dan Grayson - Assistant Curate

The Rev’d Dan Grayson is Asstiant Curate of St Peter’s, and also of St Paul’s, Clapham.

​He grew up in Manchester before moving to York in 2014 to study theology at York St John University. While he was there, he ran the very popular York St John Geek Society - a social society for lovers of boardgames and videogames. Fr Dan trained at Westcott House, Cambridge, and his MA focused on theology and video games, with a side project in the canon law of the Church of England.

He was ordained Deacon by the Bishop of Southwark in June 2024, and Priest by the Bishop of Kingston in July 2025. Fr Dan’s civil partner is a school teacher, and director of music at another church in London, and contributes to the musical life of St Peter’s. Fr Dan is also involved in the Ecclesiastical Law Society as Systems Officer.
